Terms of Service

IEP Goal Writer is a software tool that helps special education professionals draft measurable IEP goals, present-level statements (PLAAFPs), progress notes, behavior plans, and related paperwork using AI assistance. The Service produces drafts intended to be reviewed, edited, and approved by a qualified educator before use.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account or license key and for keeping your credentials secure.

The Service is a drafting aid, not legal, medical, or professional advice. AI-generated output may contain errors, estimated values, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing every output for accuracy and for ensuring that any document you produce complies with IDEA, your state regulations, and your district’s policies. We do not guarantee that output meets any legal or regulatory standard.

The Service is designed for use with de-identified student information only. You agree not to enter student names, ID numbers, dates of birth, or other personally identifiable information as defined under FERPA. You are responsible for compliance with FERPA and all applicable privacy laws. See our Privacy Policy for details.

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) enter personally identifiable student information; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service; (d) abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or (e) use the Service to generate content that is harmful, discriminatory, or infringing.

Free access includes a limited number of generations. Paid plans are billed on a monthly, six-month, or annual basis as shown on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Creem, which handles billing, receipts, and tax. Prices are shown before checkout.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the Service or via the customer portal linked in your receipt; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@iepgoalwriter.pro and we will review refund requests in good faith.

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by us and protected by law. You retain ownership of the input you provide and the final documents you create. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service under these Terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate or fit for any specific use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its output. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that creates risk or legal exposure. You may stop using the Service at any time.
